How long have you been in business?
Nashua Sew and Vac is celebrating their 22nd year in business.
What is your primary product or service?
NSV sells and services sewing machines and vacuum cleaners. Our major Brands of sewing machines are Husqvarna Viking, Pfaff, Bernina of Switzerland and lna Sewing machines and sergers.
Miele of Germany heads our vacuum cleaner line with Sebo Vacuums and Simplicity Vacuums as well.
We also have a full classroom with sewing, quilting and crafting classes.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I went to college in majoring in textiles and clothing with a strong interest in sewing. 24 years ago I met my husband working in a Singer store in Boston so opening our own store together was the perfect marriage.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We do our sewing machine service on the premise with factory trained technicians. We have knowledgeable friendly service and we really like to have fun!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have only one location and are very happy with just the one!
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover as well as a 6 month interest free program through GE Money.
Which areas do you service?
We service Southern New Hampshire and surrounding towns but many customers from over 50 miles away find our prices and service are worth the trip to tax free New Hampshire.

Nashua Sew and Vac is owned and Operated by Eddie and Ruthie Ryan
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Saturday 10 -6 with extended ours until 9 on Thursday and Friday!
